Anim8or Community

Hi! I started to render an 1 minute animation and I think will take some hours... the problem is in rendering screen I can't see the background image... is this ok ? or I must quit the rendering... It only shows a grey color backgroung...!

Hi! I try to spin a ball like a planet, around its vertical axis so I watched a video tutorial on Internet but there says we can use the Y orientation parameters so after 4 seconds of animation we change it to 90 degrees after 8 second we change the orientation of the ball to 180 and so on... I tried that but the ball just simply run in circle around a close imaginary point...  ... so instead of doing a spin it just does close circles... I can't imagine why just I can't take that ball and spin it with the mouse or something...

Hi! I might be interested in learning 3d animation graphics... Should I learn Anim8tor or other  such programs... maybe others are better... and who are they?

Hi! I am very new to Anim8tor and I want to know please some things about it... First I want to create an object with some labels on it like a bottle with some ads on it... but i don't know how to add these kind of textures on it... which are placed just on a part of the object and not all the object.

And second I still don't know how to better control the objects positions. So after I change the position of a bottle from its starting position I found is very hard to bring it back in that position. I tried to introduce some coordinates like 0-0-0 to x-y-z axes but these don't work. Also in scene mode I found it is super hard to move correctly the objects... now I use only the screen coordinates and the axes buttons(which is very annoying by the way)...
