Fill holes hasn't worked for me even in older versions ever. Try Shift-J. Unless that's the shortcut for fill holes and I'm being an idiot.

it would be cooler to have one with piezo heads, some sort of plastic/solvent mixture, and semiconductor inks. REALLY rapid circuit prototyping without having to order stuff online.

Java is sluggish and easy to recompile but it offers everything in one bundle.
Java is actually pretty fast with JIT compilation and optimization, and it's easier than c++.
If you don't know how to program in the first place, take a look at freebasic.
It's a dialog of BASIC that can utilize any shared library you care to create a header for.

It would probably just mean adding the morph code from the scene editor to the sequence editor. They probably share a large amount of code anyways.
