hey, i dont know how to rig a human, i can do everything except for rigging the arms to go in a motion of when arms are to the sides, i cant let them pivot foward or backward, like reaching up or back. are there any tutorials or pictures of rigging you guys can help me with?

Hi guys, I've been trying to animate every once in a while, but I've never got the hang of it, and I've never stuck to one idea, but this is my first big project, and since I'm not very good at anim8or yet, it won't be the best lol

well, im starting a scene, and no matter what fame rate i choose (25,30,35,40,etc.)
even other and type something in, the video frame rate stays at around 122fs/231fs
which is ridiculously high! some answers please?

alright i'm making a master chief guy, and i'm very new and don't know how to animate anything yet, but i need to know how to set certain objects such as a foot and connect it to a bone, when i highlight a certain peice like a bicep, i go to settings>object>and i type in the name, now when i go to the figure to make a skeleton, and highlight a bone, then press build>add object> then ok the object name, then the whole halo body appears. shouldn't only that bicep appear? the tutorial isn't very clear.
