cool effect for the eyes by reducing the smooth angle.

by the way is that a pin gutting it?

other than the wings thickness, great model. keep it up.

i'm not bashing lightwave. heck i use 3ds max. i'm just pointing out that anim8or is free and has functions that the expensive programs do not. so (insert what xalener said here.)

i apologize if someone took offense at my comments.

okay stop flaming each other.

and who cares that lightwave, if it can, can move the points around like anim8or. lets see last time i checked it sprice comparison it came out like so...

anim8or - $0.00
lightwave - $1500.00

if your paying so mush for an animation program you should get everything for it. most 3 products give you somthing for an insane pricetag and then make you shell out more money for plug-ins that you can't get otherwise.
so when a big 3d program is missing somthing its b/c they are doing it for money and not for customer satisfaction, like steve does with anim8or.

game developers focus on thr silloute. or the boundary of the model. they also cut lots of corners. and stuff like that. but the key is a smooth outline and nice textures and your set. also keep in mind what view the player will be seeing the car or character from and make the outline smooth from that view only.

happy modeling.

it looks good for a low poly model. don't feel restricted to only 1500 polies most game engines now can support much larger amounts. if you feel a poly is nessacery then use it.

i know how to do the unsubdivide thing but when you have thirty meshes to do it takes a while. i was just wondering if steve could implement anim8or to do it for you.

what i mean by backface culling is like in point edit mode in anim8or you can turn off or on back faces or fron faces when you are selecting things like in the picture.

thanks by the way i din't know you could do that with lights.

edit: also a small tick on the camera to tell its rotation would be very helpful

thanks Tof

here is a horse modeled in anim8or. the rig is in 3ds max so i couldn't put it up.

currently working on a biped figur for anim8or. with a walk and run built in sequences for people to use.
