Hi

I am working on a project where we need an explosion and then fire after. I have created both the fire and the explosion using terranim8or but I was wondering whether it is possible to over lap these two objects in one scene so that the explosion occurs and then a couple of seconds later the fire occurs.

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks
Jonny

I am still on board to help when ever I can with rendering, editing, promotion of. I will update the Goldline Pictures website with the new information that Spicy sent me.

I am working on a live action project at the moment with Goldline Pictures but when you have a trailer for the space series I would like a copy if possible please so that I can put it on the Goldline Pictures website as well as putting it at the beginning of the feature.

Good work. It must have taken you a while to model. Have you thought about joining the Anim8or Movie project as they are looking for anim8or with your ability. I am part of the project, I am the leader of the partner, Goldline Pictures.

We intend to help render, promote, advertise the project as well as anything else they throw at us.

But I really like the chess set, it does look like a real life set, that you have taken a photo of, did you use a set to help you model?

The skeleton is looking pretty good so far. The legs might need a little work as they seem to go in towards each other to much at the knee if you are trying to make a human skeleton but good progress so far.

I don't mean to criticise, its just a little help to make your work better. I have to say that it is great as I could not make anything like that and I have tried several times. But I suppose I need to keep trying to get better.

The predator model above looks great. It would be good to see the whole thing and with texture. Will you post your progress on it here?

Hi

I have not come up against this problem with my vista machine and terranim8or however try setting a compatibility mode for it. I have attached a zip folder containing a guide in PDF format showing you what to do.

Sorry I cannot be of more help but I have not come up against this problem so cannot give any definite answers to solve it.

Let me know if this helps.

Jonny

Yeah thats cool. Thanks for the interest. I have been in contact with the guys at hidden frontier. (www.hiddenfrontier.com) They are willing to be involved but are in a big project at the moment so will not be until about mid 2009 that we start. I will keep you all updated via this forum or I will get your email addresses from here and email you with updates if thats okay.

Secondly could anyone animate me some smoke. It needs to start in the bottom left hand side of the screen and rise to right in a diagonal way. If you could render the movie with a blue background and with a frame size of 1024pixels wide and 576 pixels high that would be great. Email it to me if you can that would be great. Its an idea for the film that I want to try out. Email address is goldlinepictures@hotmail.com. Its my group behind the fan film.

Many thanks and looking forward to working with you.

General Anim8or Forum / Re: modeling a male human torso, how?
« on: March 24, 2008, 08:23:06 pm »
I have tried to create it and I can see why there are not that many people who have tried because it is really difficult. I wanted to download a mesh for a minotaur as I cannot get it right, no matter how much I try it just doesnt seem right. I suppose I wanted the easy option

General Anim8or Forum / Re: Newish to Mac, how to install Anim8or?
« on: March 21, 2008, 07:28:53 am »
Unfortunately Anim8or will not run on a mac as they have different encoding of .exe files. Unless Steve, Anim8or creator, re-encodes the software to the Mac program structure then it will not work on a Mac. However I believe that it should run on a Mac if it has an Intel processor.

You may be able to find an emulator or what hihosilver suggested to run it as a virtual program.

Hope that it has been of some use.

Thanks for the help. I will have a look to see if the meshes I found have a compatible file extension. If they do then I will import them like you say.

I have been looking all over the internet for meshes of a minotaur. I have found several for other animation programs like 3D Max and lightwave 3D but nothing for anim8or. Does anyone know of any good meshes that I can download or any tutorials that I can follow.

I am a newbie to animating so need any help that I can get.

Thanks in advance for any replies
