I'm glad you liked it, I'm just glad Anim8or didn't die on me this time.

Yeah, I just said this on my thread, but Kreator's tutorials are good. They are on the top of the General Anim8or Forum. He has some you're looking for.

I just seen that model on your thread. Thank you for telling me how to start it with the newline tool. Kreator has a list of tutorials stickied on the forum, I think in the general forum.

I don't know what could have messed it up, but I'd try redownloading Anim8or... but I don't know if that would help. Hope you figure it out.

They look really good! I've only played 64, adventures, and assault, but they look like the real characters. Peppy's too old to have a girlfriend though... right? (actually more senior citizens are having relationships these days). I animated water using a series of morph targets, here are some screen shots of what I did. Each morph looks like morph01 (the third picture) but the next set of points are in the place of the previous on the y-zxis.

It was a one time glitch, I got it now...
39395586 rays
31163.66 render time
It's probably the last time I'll show it, so this is my final. I'm not that happy with it, I think I should have tried a simpler idea that wasn't overkill with simply mirrors. Again, great renders everyone!

Well, I really hope you have a lot of fun and are successful! Godspeed.

Has anyone done the fairy, cause I could if you want.

That we all love and miss! The bad acting, the over-the-top narrator, the obvious fakery, the grainulated quality, mono sound channel, goofy costumes, unconsistent plot. My heart just THROBS for the past!

I agree on $imon on the color, but to help you disinguish each area, you might want to color each part different colors, like making the door orange and the hood blue. It could help in modeling (then again maybe not). Great model anyway, color is arbitrary in most cases anyway because that is easily changed.

If you show the scene as if in the tv, it might be funny to add the string supporting the stars and stuff. That would make it look low budget and/or old. If you have seen the disney show Valiant, the "we want you" commercial in the beginning even has a balloon as the earth if I remember right.

Great finals everyone. So Floyd, who had their head smashed into the mirror? Looks like a story for Cold Case or CSI... "The mirror was the only witness, we got skin cells and blood from our vic, but we also had some unidentified fingerprints..." (I have only 6 channels [when they work] so I watch those shows a lot). I tryed rendering last night, and in the morning it was finished (with AntiAlias on). The problem? Anim8or didn't completely know it was done! I could move the picture around, but the progress bar never filled, so the save button never unlocked! :'( The thing is, that is the kind of error that is nearly impossible to find. In all probability, it's my graphics card, chipset, and overcranked anti-virus software on the computer I'm using. Regardless, I'll try again tonight.

Watching Kreator's tutorial, that's what it seems to be. I'm doing a dragon head as practice. The thing that confused me is how did he start with the new edge tool. I made an n-gon, filled it, then deleted all but on point to start on, which worked. So thank you Kreator, great tutorial (and amazingly, it's not blocked on my school computer ;D)!

Is the ground grid on? The only thing that I can think of that may do that is the two-toned, gray, ground grid. Go to the same place as before (Settings=>Environment...) and a little more than halveway down is a checkbox entitiled "Ground Grid". Uncheck that and the grid will disappear. If you were using a solid background, this is the only thing that should effect what you're seeing. Again, I hope this helps.

A background on what? If your talking about scene mode, goto... Settings => Environment... Then you have the options or solid, image, panarama, or environment map. Select the one you want, then change the settings to the corresponding picture(s). It is also noteworthy to mention that to see the effect of the background, you need be in camera view (view => camera). Hope this helps, if not you need to tell us what you want the background on. It could be multiple things, like an object that you use as a background or the background of the scene.
