Ian Ross has just released a book on Anim8or. It's perect for a beginner and a good reference for experienced users. It contains detailed chapters on every aspect, with many examples. Get your own copy here: "Anim8or Tutorial Book"
Well, first off, you could use Google and search for the information your looking for, because tutorials can nearly always be translated to different programs, for example a tutorial for Max, can be applied for Anim8or for the most part and usually the writer also includes extra information such as why your doing something, real-world examples, other practices to follow etc
Although if you are asking for Anim8or related tutorials so you can be Anim8or than my mistake.
While I'm here; I personally believe trial and error is a great way of learning as you might not get what you want, but you might instead figure out something else in the process, and there's no right way to do something in Art, although there are a few standards you might want to follow.
