Nice renders there. And quite high poly stuff you got there ;)
I love the drone, its cool!

The highest poly mesh I have ever used was 1.5 Million Faces, it was a bit laggy :)

General Anim8or Forum / Re: How to Create Ball
« on: June 19, 2009, 05:39:15 am »
Really quick way :)

Create a Sphere and sub-divide (Subsurf) it so it doesnt look blocky, maybe turn down the specular a bit (Make sure it doesn't look too shiny).
Then find a basket ball texture, and find a suitable bump map so it looks realistic (And not like a sphere and a slapped on texture).
Add the texture, mayeb a bit of UV Mapping so its scaled correctly. Render and see how it looks.
This isn't the best way, but its the quick way :)

EDIT: Also check out the manual, it can help loads!  :D

Very nice work going on there!

I love the back of the ship (The cargo hold), the front looks good as well but it looks more of a fighter than a cargo frieghter. But I love your designs and textures, its amazing how low-poly you get your models to be. Tell us your secret! haha.

Keep up informed on the WIP Short Film. :)

It works for me.

Its a good animation, I like the blue car at the beggining :)
Looks like you got quite a collection going on. All modelled by yourself?

26
How do you do your textures?
He might have used Photoshop. :)

Nice start, I can see the head of the tank is coming along nicely. You might want to smooth the guns though, they seem a little blocky :)
