If it doesn't destroy your work, try sub dividing. Always make a copy, create a new object and paste it there - do this before you make any changes.

I did some playing around with my settings and I may have it figured out. I had my screen saver turned off and my power saver mode turn my monitor off so just for kicks I enabled my screen saver mode and was able to save my project after a 10 hour render. I will try another long render and see if that was the fix to my problem. For what ever reason anim8or will not let my power saver mode go into effect and when the render is complete you cannot save.

Use the Graph Editor in scene mode

CTRL P - make sure it is upper case P

I've posted this topic before, but left out some important information in helping to resolve this issue that some have.

I didn't use to have this problem but now I do - Anim8or will not let my computer go into screen protect mode and after a long render, I cannot save the image. If I do a print screen I can open it in another program, but if the image is vary large and goes off the screen, this will not work.

Hope this helps Steve - I use Nvidia 6600 GPU - I must have changed something in my computer that will not allow Anim8or to go into screen protect mode during a long render and I would say this is also the same reason I cannot save after a long render.

Specular = .3
Rough = 8
Brillance = 10
Everything else is default - Just pick your color
