@mp3d: the tutorials didnt give me the answer to my question Cheesy, i did some of em so far (flower, tires, bowl) and they are really great and helpful to learn the use of anim8or.
I was doing the tutorials when i got that problem Smiley.

In the video tutorial on the warp modifier, I specifically tell the viewer to make sure the object is in the warp modifier. I also show the viewer that the modifier can be moved and scaled. Could you explain what part you had trouble on so I can make sure my tutorial is not miss leading/ confusing so no one else runs into this problem.

Thanks.

Hi Rosemary,

Thank you for that useful link MP3D!

But, i didn't find a tutorial to make egde loopings...just a GIF thing Smiley

At least, now I know what you are all talking about, and, I downloaded the PDF document...*browsing through it now *

Rosemary :0)

There is a whole series on edge looping on my site.
http://www.mp3d.info/Anim8ortutorials/page2.html

Start with the head tutorial. Then go to the body tutorial. Edge looping is a technique used in modeling. (you know that  ;D)
Those videos will teach you edge looping.

And thanks for the compliment on my website, not many people say ( Thank you ) for spending the time to make those tutorials.
Its nice to hear it is helping you.

Take care.

General Anim8or Forum / Re: rendering wire frame
« on: January 23, 2008, 01:20:51 pm »
why add more polygons to achieve a wire frame when you can use a UV map instead?

Its very simple, just export your model as wavefont object, import it into UV mapper Classic assign a planar map, then export the UV map and the new object file. then import the new model back into anim8or, assign the uv map to the new model then......rig.....anim8.....and render........cool..........=)

faster render times and the texture streches with the mesh as you anim8.......WOW

Have fun..
