 :-X hohohohoh

Nah, spores are small "cells" that come from plants/fungi in order to reproduce...

I didn't realize that xD
Thanks

Anim8or is culture too!

lol

So yes, those are particles.  I would just say that they're turning into particles, or... exploding into small pieces! haha
Don't worry, your English is great, that was the only word that was off.

wow, thanks!
My teacher would be proud  ^^

I feel like a...
baby :O

lol

Great model!

How much time you used to model this?

And Which is the average of time it took rendering?

without wireFrame it seems to be hi-poly :P

Congratulations!

Nice to know!

I tryied to explain, that in a part of the video, some characters became particles, dust, they just explode in small pieces, (I thought "spore" meant the same thing  :-[)

Thanks!
That helped me understand a lot!

I promise I will use a translator next time before posting ::)

Did you try to run Cre8or.exe?
It's a external program, so you don't need directly Anim8or to open the program.(Just to make the models)

And I think it's better to make the question on it's forum, they know more about it :D

Yes, but if this can be used in a scene, it's can be really useful, I think

General Anim8or Forum / [Question] Soft objects, Particle, and Physics?
« on: October 14, 2008, 11:14:03 am »
 ;DHi again

I have a question:
I saw in some animations objects that seem to be soft, for example, in the intro of Kingdom Hearts 2, there's a crystal-like thing that Sora was in, and he put his hands on this, and his finger became "flat"...
I don't know, but the models (The glass and Sora) look to be very complex to just make a morph, so I wanted to know, is that made manualy, or it's possible to have a way to make the model react in that way (like boolean substraction, difference, or whatever) ?
I know computers do almost everything, but I'm not sure  ;D

Another think I saw is that the people become spore (I don't know if it's the right word), is that particle effect?

Aw, and in the same video, there's a part, where Kairi is on the beach, and one of the fingers touch the small finger and this one reacts strangely(like it has no bone), this is physics in this animation, right?

I'm a bit curious about things in animations :P

I learned the history of the computers, and my teacher shown me a punch card, he told me he lost hours compilating a program, sometimes just to discover the program had a syntax error!

Punch-cards (careful, don't screw up the order), batch-processing, waiting in a queue for two hours to get results from an IBM1620 (1967).  Yep, some of us ARE old geezers!
I hope you're not complaining! In 1976 I used to wait two days to find out that my program didn't compile due to some 5 punch cards with syntax errors...
Guilherme Amorim, I'm sure you'll have a hard time to explain your grand sons that computers used to have silicon chips, keybord, mouse and no direct connection to the brain!  :)
How to explain that nobody can't use holograms as display yet?
ahuehuaheuaheuaheuahe

... I'm sure you'll have a hard time to explain your grand sons that computers used to have silicon chips, keybord, mouse and no direct connection to the brain!  :)
some of us won't have to explain, we'll just be able to show off the archaic-but-still-in-use machine itself... i for one know my brain is in such a bad state already, i can't afford to risk having it directly connected to a computer, especially one running Windows! :P  ;D

I don't want a virus in my head (hackers neither) =x

I did the last piece today, the horse, it's horrible xD
i'm sorry to say, i have to agree.  i can't help thinking it looks more like a drunken llama than a horse :P

well, the neck bit isn't too bad, but the muzzle and ears just don't look right at all.  it sort of looks like you've got multiple polys intersecting each other in some places.  maybe use a reference image or two?

- c
sincerity hurts  :D
jokin'

I liked this description, "drunken llama" xDDDDDDDDDDDD
Well, I'll try to find two references Images( Front and Side).
Thanks for your opnion  ;D

great job.  ;D

small note that the lighting is a little hot  :P

Thanks!
I realized that after the process of redering, but after 10 hours, I did not want to wait all again  :-X

Good work. It must have taken you a while to model. Have you thought about joining the Anim8or Movie project as they are looking for anim8or with your ability. I am part of the project, I am the leader of the partner, Goldline Pictures.

We intend to help render, promote, advertise the project as well as anything else they throw at us.

But I really like the chess set, it does look like a real life set, that you have taken a photo of, did you use a set to help you model?

I used a photo that I found in the internet
this one:

Me, ability? lol
seriouly? :o
Thanks!

And about joining the project, well ,maybe!
but I'm out about it, I don't nothing about this project, there's a post or a site that I can take some infos?

Thx again!

Finally, whole set rendered, took 10 hours and 10 mins of my life  :o

xD

I can say that the problem is that every piece is subdivided xD
