General Anim8or Forum / Could anyone rig a model for me?
« on: June 24, 2008, 08:03:31 pm »
ok.. here's the thing. i have modeled a simplistic cartoonish version of a rabbit, and was wondering if anyone could rig it for me, so that I could create running and hitting animations and such..

contact me on
Myrt535@hotmail.com
via mail or msn.

I am currently broke, and will not be able to pay, in any way. but i would be really greatfull to the one that could spare maybe half an hour of there life to help me out :)

indigo isn't text based. but you need to download blender and a scripth called blendigo. there is probably a guide somewhere on the net..

ah. ok. you should at least guess, because right now it looks more like a cheap toy than a gun, if you get what i mean.

To me the handle looks a bit long though..

hi! Did you make it after a reference image? either way you should get a picture of the gun in top view, and make the top after that. because to me it looks a bit square. annyways, good luck. a nice model anyway!

Yea its a razr. Mactetra you don't happen to live outside of the U.S.A because when I went to London all the people had some phones that most people where I am from don't have. And most people here have a variety of phones. (I guess different phones are more popular over there than over here.

I'm from Europe, Norway.

8 Hours! Wow! What computer specs do you have?
i can ask my friend.. but indigo works so that it strats with a simple picture, and the longer it renders the better it turns. sorry for my crap english :P

The watermark is there because my friend wanted to have it there.. probably so you all could check out the website or somthing...

The ripples in the paint is something i told my friend about as well. probably going to fix that later

The rendertime is on the bottom of the picture..

Yep. finally my friend finished his render :) all creds to him for that.. I just made the model.

The top picture has some disorder on it. like some random pixels, but that will be fixed.

B3dman's.

I already knew about this method, but when i am making a double wire I have to put the second wire on top of the first. so the wire is never twisted. something that looks a bit unnatural, so I am thinking of making a new one.

:)

what is the phone model named? like. what brand and such?

indeed very nice models! but the texture is just absolutely lovely!  it makes it look like 1000 times higher quality! did you make it in photoshop?

ok. sorry for bumping this topic, but i really just had to say it.

the model was really good, but it would look so much better with a texture with black lines for the ryncles (probably written wrong) and a more like "cell shaded" style. see the toon tutorial to understand what i mean.

Oh! you are totally right about the paint. I'll fix it right away..

it is going to be a while before i post a update because a friend of mine is going to render the scene for me in Indigo to make it look more realistic.

about the textures:

The skin-cream- and paint- label is scanned. the wood i got from http://www.cgtextures.com
The bumpmaps are made in MS paint. and the rest is in Anim8or.
