have you made a character "base" that you edit for each character you make, or do you make every character from scratch?

I like it! but you should make the cave/tunnel a bit darker, to make it look more creepy.

Wow. That looks like a complicated paper craft model.
looks fairly easy to me. i have seen some papercrafts that are at least 100 times harder, transformers etc.

anyway,

OT: I am thing of maybe try out some textures today, just to see how it turns out, probably going to update tomorrow ;)

I am not going to use these for textures, but maybe some of it, and they are really a help when it comes to references for the textures.

a cool face, indeed. Looks really great from the front, from the side it looks a bit wierd, i would suggest making it a bit thinner, perhaps that will do the trick.

Sick! That is one heck of an awsome model!! Can't wait to see the finished product(with horns and all)

like dwalcott said, it would be really cool to see it rise out of the water or something!

Wow, the detail on the tread is great!  Lots of work.  I can tell.  have you started picking your materials yet.  That is what took me the longest.  Here is some of what I tried...

We should start a Wall-e the robot club!

I have some nice textures, i can uppload them later, they are really from a papercraft model of wallE. so they basicly look like a UV map :D

don't know if this is mentioned, but it should be possible to mirror several meshes at a time, it takes ages to mirror, lets say.. a bowl of peas.

so, once again an update on my Wall-E, just started working on the belts, so remember, they are NOT done at all, i think the proportions are a bit wrong, so maybe i will remake them.

anyway, here is the new pic, some response would be nice, both positive and negative accepted :)

HAHA! i really love your characters man! but the fish should definetly get a more realistic texture, it looks a bit too toon'ish.

Love the idea with the hats!
