ART. of an imagined sound generating contraption wot i did for the steam punk challenge over on animannon.
i haven't got the patience to do it all in ART. but thought i would do a frame at least.
minor colour adjustment to rendered image in photoshop.
tell me off if this is too big an image for the forum.it is way within the file size guidelines .

General Anim8or Forum / laptop mouse pad
« on: February 13, 2009, 09:42:09 am »
don't know if this relates to some of Tanzims problems....

I tried to follow the easy eyes tutorial also, my abilities related to figures and sequences have been a bit hit and miss.
and following the tutorial  i  couldnt get things to work.
On a whim decided to try it on another computer and accidently realised that the functionality of my laptop is to blame.
The other computer has a mouse and adds much more functionality to moving the bones  to where i want them etc
In the 'easy eyes tutorial' the right mouse button is the area where my laptop mousepad lets me down.
Clicking what should in effect be the right mouse button has no effect.....no wonder my figure/sequencing progress has been a bit stuttered.
Is there a way round this laptop based drawback ?
i suppose i could plug in an external mouse.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / LEPTONIUM
« on: February 11, 2009, 06:44:11 am »
LEPTONIUM...was made to celebrate the 3d ness of anim8or it's quite minimalist really
certainly in terms of modelling
i entered this film in the mobo film contest recently but it didn't make it into the final. ;D

the finshed film was designed for distibution on mobile phones so thats the reason for its dimensions.
i have been using anim8or for a number of years and without the help and genorosity of the anim8or community
it would not have come to be.
i hope you enjoy it and would love to here your views.

http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/191448/LEPTONIUM3.wmv

i have another film called 'leptonia' which is very similar though all scenes and backgrounds are different
It is wide screen 1920 x 1080 hd,which i hope to submit somewhere?? soon.

here are some related still images from the movies made using anim8or and photoshop.

« on: November 07, 2008, 09:32:47 am »
this project has been shelved for the time being.
i hope to re-visit it sometime and start again.
there are 100's of errors in them.trying to make clothes correctly
being a big one.
the quality of the u tube videos aint so hot and they are quite sloppy.
and these footages are all that remain as i lost all my edited pieces of 10, 1 minute episodes and the
sound tracks that accompanied them [as i have wittered on about on a previous thread]
i just put them up so friends could have a look but thought you lot might enjoy
a look also.
