General Anim8or Forum / For Steve, moderators... and anybody else
« on: January 26, 2008, 05:11:19 am »
to everybody:
Just one quick note... Half of the topics on the "General Anim8or forum" are titled like "Please Help!!!!!!", "Need Help!", "Huge problem!!!!", "Help anybody!" etc...
Authors of most of these topics ask questions, which can be generally answered just by looking in the manual; when I'm trying to help anybody with his problem, I usually spend about 30 seconds serching for the right chapter in the manual and then I post the link.
So... I'd like to ask everyone:
1. Please try to make a good title for your topic so people can recognize, what's your problem...
2. Before you post, it's sometimes really good idea to see the manual or the tutorials section...
This doesn't mean anything like "Stop all the stupid questions!" (when I was starting with Anim8or, I asked the same questions...). I mean that sometimes it's just not so difficult to help yourself
to Steve (or any of the moderators):
I think it woudn't be a bad idea to make a sticky "Read First" topic on the forum... It would contain a "before you post" outline (like "try the manual" and "try to search the forum"); What do you think?
