great video, I thought it was superb,

pacing depends on your intended audience - if your audience is someone who has used anim8or for a while then it is spot on.

for a beginner you might have to slow down in places.

Voice: I thought it was just right, maybe just more commas as has been suggested.

thanks for making it!

cheers :)

Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit, I don't get any file extension warnings. My account is administrator, however, and I have UAC turned off.

Btw, Headwax, soft select is in the feature request thread, Tier 1 - Object Editor, called Proportional Editing.
.  Thanks Raxx ;)

Heh heh, very funny. I am allergic to cats so it will have to be soft pillow select then ;)

Cheers, hope you are all well ! I haven't done any modelling for ages as I just morph commercial characters if necessary, or do something simple like wheel barrows if I cant find one in my props dept! Talk about lazy bugger eh? It's just wonderous how anim8or is leaping ahead.

Hey anim8or is just being upgraded amazingly. Thanks and congrats Steve.

You realise that for us casual lurkers that we will need a new manual with all the wonderful improvements ? ;)

Can I ask a stupid question? Do we have an easy to use soft select at the moment?

Anim8or is a wonderful modeller and more, highly recommended.
Once you feel you have exhausted it, add another tool to your tool box.
At that point you will be able to decide for yourself.

Lol, so one door shuts and another one opens :) Yes I've read about Truman. He was the one after George Washington? You are holding your age well Steve. :) Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for anim8or! Cheers from Oz!

I retired Oct 1 and have a bit more time now.  I'm currently restructuring the web site (almost done) and updating the manual to include the new features.  Then a new release (not preview) called v0.98.

Great news Steve, congrats!!! Aren't you too young to retire ? :)

headwax: Hey, I didn't know that muchos gracias was auzzie talk  :)

ha hah, we like to keep our special talk to ourselves but occasionally out it escapes :)

thanks Steve, muchos gracias :) as we say in Oz.

Hi, all.

I'm back from an extended trip and starting to work through the issues reported here.  It's good to be back working on Anim8or.  It's been too long since I had any free time!

The highest priority is to get Anim8or working on Win-XP.

Stay tuned for more details.

thanks Steve for all your hard work :)

pleasure - I had a go at modelling a lizard a few years ago, it was hard to breath life into - you've done  a great job!
