is itt possible to use anim8tor on a vista laptop?

the computer being a laptop shouldn't make any difference at all.  anim8or works fine on both laptops and desktops.

however, some people have had problems with Vista.  as far as i'm aware, it pretty much works, so long as you run it in XP-compatability mode, and ensure you have the latest graphics drivers, but even then there can be one or two bugs.  on the whole, it can be done though.

though i do have a lap top running on vista, it doesnt work as well on the lap top cpompared to the desktop because i puposely had the same hardware installed on both of mine. On the desktop, it works perfectly fine, but on the laptop, the error message saying "anim8or has stopped working" keeps coming up or an8 tweaks with the graphics to the point of "unworkability". In the end my laptop runs on XP Media Center

It should work fine, I have had no problems on my Vista OS.

laptop with vista no go for me. The problem seems to be ATI mobility radeon HD 2300. Whenever I try to update the video driver it tells me I have the latest and greatest .

Problem is video "artifacts".

Working fine on my laptop. with Vista..... did crash once, but not sure if it was a anim8or bug or vista.

Vista laptops can be problematic with Anim8or, so try and make sure that Anim8or is the first thing you open on your desktop else you increase the chances of problems. Also don't have lots of apps running in the background.
