how to create realistic hair

i badly need help im creating a human figure but i want to put a good hair for my character somebody help me.................. thanx in advance

Using trans map and hair textures you can make nice hair. http://images.google.com/images?client=opera&rls=en&q=hair%20alpha&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi google is your best friend ;)

Get a free subscription to Renderosity.com, then go through their freeware section and grab all the Poser hair you can. With a bit of tweaking, it should fit onto heads with normal human proportions.

so say i got one of those pics on google then what would i do w/ that pic,iv never put hair on a model.

You make a material with the regular hair texture then add the hair alpha as a transmap to the material then make a plane, add the material to the plane, and mold the plane to your model.
