Well I was working on my model and I rendered it and came up with a weird material mix up here are some pics
(I did not use any materials)

Basically, there's a bug in 0.97c where "The ambient light setting for AA renders was being set too high by a factor of PI".
You (as in a user) can't solve, Steve however has fixed/is fixing it.
It should be in the 0.97d release.
