warp modifiers

i made about 5 cylinders (made 1 copied 4 more), grouped them and when i go to bind the warp modifier they all disapear. what happend?

First, I think this topic belongs to the "preview" board...

I've done some tests and this is what I found:

Modifiers work ok with almost any kind of shape (for example a cylinder is automatically converted to mesh...), but there's a problem with groups. If you bind a modifier to a group, the group disappears; it's not deleted (unless you delete the modifier...) and you can bring it back with the "unbind modifier" command. The "effect modifier" command doesn't work.

I think you'll have to join the shapes before using a modifier instead of grouping them...
