Any interior modelling tutorials?
« on: January 19, 2008, 05:38:07 pm »

I'm interested in learning modelling, but specifically interior modelling. Such as scifi and stuff. But I can't find any information on how to begin learning interior modelling of any kind...

The first step would be to learn modeling itself so that you can make basic objects.  Then you can apply what you know to making a room.

Thats 100% right. When you know how to do modelng, you can model anything. Actualy simple thinking is the key to everything, but you know what they say, you whant it to be simple - become a pro. ;)

Ok. That was just a saying :D

Try tutorials and try creating simlpe objects. If you want something more comlpex spend more time on thinking how can you make a complex object from the simple. If you do that, at first you'll think more than do modeling, but in the future you'll ve able to modle anything with just having idea in your mind. ;)

I remember my first experiences with animator was designing the layout of a house for my design tehcnologies class..... it was suppose dot be done on paper, but i was never to good at drawing and i aske dif i could do it with anim8tor... not tha thard, all i did was get a bunch of basic shapes, put them together and put some simple textures on things, and i got an 80 ( it wasn't complete, i got lazy the last few days and fooled aorund iwht anim8or instead of working on teh project)
