creating faces, filling holes
« on: November 29, 2008, 02:26:48 am »

Hi, hello, bonjour,

I know that my question is about a very basic problem, but I've not been using anim8or since a long time...
In the point editor I wonder how to "fill hole", create a new face when anim8or refuses to do so : one of the edges is white, so in the anim8or rules, it's impossible to create the face.
Can you tell me how to create my faces ?

thanks !

It sounds like you are trying to edge loop.
Your lines need to be pink or green to be able to fill holes and make faces.
If you hava a white line it may be because you have too many faces attached to that line. Remove one of the faces attached to that white line and try to fill your new loop.
If this doesn't help post a pic.
