Nice draft! There are three things that hit my attention: the legs are too human-like, the fangs/horns could be made more spiky and finally it recalls me a lot the Aliens' Queen! Did you take inspiration from there?

It's a good start in any case, keep on modelling, I'm curious to see its evolution Lizeal.

I agree with the human leg sentiment, But I love the way it looks like it creeps around in the sewers, and the rub sorta things that give it a horrific look.
The spiky bits look painful, I don't want to know how this creature evolved into this.

thanks guys. i'm hoping this model moves along as fast as the dragons did.

anyways. this model was inspired by the alien queen. (the crest was suposed to be larger, but it made the whole model look funny.) the teeth look more vicios but
it makes up for the lack of that inner mouth thing.

anyway i fixed the "human leg problem" and have many more pics here.

my original idea was to put this monster into a pyramid somwhere, butb i like your sewer idea better. :)

here they are. the model is around 9000 polyies

Just a personal opinion here, but I'm not too sure about that skin texture. Something about it just looks wrong to me. Teeth look good though.

I assume the tail will not remain in that position when it comes to in scene renders?

Awesome legs now, I love the gritty spikiness of it all.

about the skin texture, it is a simple bump map, but in the frontal picture of its face, that is a scanline render thats why it looks funny.

don't worry about the tail, i haven't gotten around to skinning the model yet.

i haven't got that much time but will try to post some work on the sewer system.

thanks for all the feedback

this project is halted;

why"?

b/c when i was rigging it after i was finished except for the legs when i tyied to make new bones they were all created from the root bone even though it wasn't selctcted. also i tested it out on othe rbones and i got the same result.

any ideas .
