Newbie Says Hi
« on: December 02, 2008, 11:30:58 pm »

My latest animation

First off, I can't draw/sketch.
I rely on using existing pictures, drawings, sketches, etc.
Many times, I will use images that I have altered and/or morphed.

I made this latest one by creating a series of stills, creating an animated GIF (using a GIF animator),
Converting it to an AVI, adding sound, and then converting that into the following animation;

The next two are animations that I created using a Face Puppet Animation software program called Crazy Talk.

I have downloaded Anim8or and joined this and the other related Forums because I want to learn more about creating/modeling my own unique characters.

So, I welcome any comments and/or suggestions that might help to further my animating abilities.

With appreciation,
Charles Jr

Hallo Charles, welcome to the Anim8or forum.
Unfortunately I'm on my mobile phone so I cannot check out your videos, but your post sounds promising.
You will find good hints and help here, so feel free to ask whenever you need. My first advice is to read thoroughly the manual and to drop an eye to the tutorials, there are many in the official Anim8or website.
Nice to have you here, have fun anim8ing!
