Raytracer problem

I'm not sure somebody has already said this but the raytracer renderer is not displaying shadows. Is there a problem with my PC/Version or is it a bug?

I have had this problem too. I had a scene with alot of objects all casting/receiving shadows, but those didn't displayed in the render.
Don't know how i fixed it again. I belief i deleted all the lights in the scene, saved and had the lights set up again.

You can also try going "View>Preferences" and make sure the "shadows" box in checked in the "file output" section.

You also have to enable shadows for each light.  ART originally ignored the "light casts shadow" flag which was a bug.  With the bug fixed ART now works like the scanline renderer.
