Honestly I'd really appreciate it if these tutorials were made more public.  As in, not having to sign up for the forum just to see the tutorials.  It would greatly help the anim8or community if they were more accessible.

I agree with hihosilver...
The point of a tutorial is (usually) to help everybody who needs it; this seems like an attempt to get as many new members as possible... What's the point?
I respect Kreator's decission to make a tutorial only for members od the AnimAnon community... But I don't understand the reason.

You don't understand, I believe Kreator has used a preset forum designer and, therefore has no choice to take away the account programme..

He has done all he can do by eliminating activation emails, and that has made it lots easier!

Ok, maybe I'm wrong... but I just don't like the fact that people must sign in...

Here we go a Flame war starting!

As far as I am concerned The tutorial is there for anybody who wants to read it , or any of the others, all I ask is that peeps sign up to the board if they want to... I have spent time on making up the tut so it seems its not too much to ask.

I always thought that a forum required participation , if all your going to do is come on get what you want, then(excuse my french) sod off without even a thank you then I don`t call that participation.

.Org is really for advanced users,, not newbies , who really don`t want to hear endless crits etc, all they want is a little praise to help them on their way with their latest creation.

You can still see the boards with the exsisting set up though not as many , i accept, but this is part of becoming a member of Animanon,.

Any forum I visit I sign up to as there usually is a wealth of info available, and I like to participate .

Iv`e had my say ... you can get on with it. I shall make no further comments.

Thanks for replying, Kreator... I must say I don't agree, but that doesn't matter... we have very different point of view and none of us is going to change his opinion, so there's no point of arguing...

The tutorial is great by the way!

I have to disagree with you as well Kreator.  In my opinion it's seemed like an advertisement ploy to get new members.
I respect your opinion though, and of course don't wish to make this a flame war.

One thing I'm wondering about is what you say about .org
Do you mean anim8or.org?  Because there are plenty of new users, and even the more advanced users need all the crits they can get.

Sorry if I sound critical, but it's probably because I am a bit, but that's just my opinion.

I think it's a good idea. He also has it (I believe) so that you must have at least 5 posts on the forum in order to download the free Carrara program.

I would have just downloaded it and left, but since I needed to post several times, I decided to stay for awhile. Now I have the forum bookmarked.

I mean, it's true, if he's going to all the trouble to make these tutorials and a great forum, he wants someone to look at the rest of it!
