anim8or can import Moray files?
« on: January 30, 2009, 11:07:32 am »

Okay, i recently found anim8or, but before I used something called Moray. It was pretty buggy, and I never figured out how to make clips and movies and such, but the interface was clean and quick. Now I'm addicted to anim8or, and poor Moray was ignored completely until i started my current project, an AMV to Devour from shinedown. I needed to make two machines, both of them rather complex. I grimaced at the long months I foresaw, until I remembered I already had a figure built almsot exactly like I wanted. In Moray. I tried to import it to anim8or, and it worked, but when it brought it up.... nothing was there, just blank space. Anybody know what's happening?

If you're able to, try exporting the Moray file to a .obj or .3ds file or something that anim8or supports, as I believe Anim8or does not support Moray files (as long as it has its own unique file extension.)

The only export option is an UDO wireframe, which anim8or loads, but it doesnt display anything.

Here's a quote I found from a page by searching google:
Quote
If they are meshs, you can import the mesh .pov file in PoseRay and export
them to .obj[/quote
