graphic tablets are used for drawing, the only way you can use a graphics tablet for 3d models is with a sculpting program like z-brush or mud box.

you can use it the same way you would use a normal mouse with anim8or, but no point really.

Personally I find a tablet much faster with my  modeling, but really it varies from person to person.  Then again, I haven't had a mouse in a long time (besides the one that goes on my tablet, but its a bit awkward), so I've been modeling with my tablet for a while and kind of gotten the hang of it.

Some people find it awkward, others find it more liberating.  Personally I find it quicker, though it's not necessarily  more precise.

So I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it, but do you have one? or are you thinking of getting one?

Hi,

I´m thinking to get a grafic tablet because I had expected to be more precise with the tablet.
But I was not really sure of it.

thanks

I would not expect to be more precise with a tablet.  The on-screen mouse is normally much less stable, at least in my opinion.  Still, I like it because I feel I'm quicker with it, as I am with  a pencil, and I have more freedom as its more like drawing on paper to me which is more natural in my opinion.

So no, I would not expect it to be more precise.
