Newby searching help
« on: March 18, 2009, 10:03:27 am »

At first, hello to you all,

I'm totally new to animating and 3D so I need a little help  :D

I've started with the eggplant :P but I got a question: how can I select more parts after eachother.

It's with the 'feet' of the plant: I need to select the side faces, and not the above and bottom, how can I do that?--> sllecting several things after eachother while the faces I selected before keep selected?!

long answer:Left click selecting selects things individually and will unselect anything that is chosen when clicked again, when you right click it keeps previously selected units while selecting new ones.

short answer: use the right click instead of left.

select everything
go to build>group (or just press g)
then use the scale tool in the toolbar to resize it
(to ungroup go to build>ungroup or press u)

hope that helps!

Good luck with the modeling :)
