Hair Simulator
« on: April 12, 2009, 03:19:52 am »

Hey , I've been working with Anim8or for a year now and something thats always been missing in my models is a Hair-Simulator , you know like the one in blender.

I've been wondering if there is someone out there that is willing to put a lot of time and tribute in to making a script for the Hair-Simulator , please (Someone who is experienced)

OR:

If steve is willing to put a lot of time into making a Hair-Simulator in to anim8or in future releases. ??? :o ::) :P :-[ :-X :-\ :-* :'(

I'm not to sure whether Steve will create a physics engine for Anim8or, because it will take such a long time to program.

Currently users won't be able to create a script for 'physics-style' hair, although I have seen a few particle creating programs for Anim8or (made by users), how they work is that the users selects an object, and adds inputs such as scale, location, rotation, and amount of particles, and the programs will make as many copies as the user inputted etc. Try Googling them, although I wouldn't recommend them as their really inefficient in the way they work.
