I don't personally think this is really Detail Focused modeling

it is rather roughly done

and i have taken a day to model it, untill now

it's toe is not me likey, would you recommend one? :P

Well, I guess that is true, a lot of the shapes aren't overly complex, but there are a lot of shapes making up the Mech, which is what I'm guessing is making it so visually appealing.
BTW: I personally think it would look better without the ends of the feet (the orange squares).

The texturing is really amazing, great patina. And anim8or renders?

Quality work.

That's awesome! Did you use any other software, or just Anim8or? Methinks you ought to be writing tutorials if you're this good!

Amazing!  Your texturing style really makes this stand out.
Ha, I can almost see it being a frog-like mech!

Wow!  That's wild! The general shape, textures, and the whole composition is really powerful and plausible!  Except, as stated before, the feet look a bit too dainty... I'd expect to see some pretty big "toes" to balance that mass of tonnage!

...I officially hate you...
Nah, you give me hope ...sad, sad hope that I will one day get that good!

Anyway...

All of this was 100% made in Anim8or and from your own doing? No Trickery, no 3ds Max, (Or other programs) or used a tutorial?

If all of this was done in Anim8or I've still got some serious skills to aspire too. Once finished will you make a tutorial on making it, if only for us lowly peasants, sire (HA HA)

I believe you got mixed up, sir.

It not Hihosilver that made it, it's G3.

Maybe Aric wasn't talking about the model . . . maybe he liked hiho's literary style and felt it needed to be pointed out.

Holy sweet mother of--

I better step it up a notch. If crazy crap this awesome looking is possible in anim8or, then I'm obviously not using it to its full potential.

Thanks for all your concerns.

Well this model is only done in anim8or

I didn't use any other 3D program but I used paint shop to make textures and to give them FOD effect.

texture streches!!!!

Well while i was rendering this thing , it have gotten too many errors.

likely if i try to render in 700X700 when it get to the middle of it sometimes it just show the error message and  just disappears , the render only sucsesses while the rendering preview function is disabled by some strange power of universe (rendering preview seldomly goes wrong  and show up X that is now fine to me)

another problem is Time   after the model gets detail , it is continually going slower and now... it takes about 5 hours it is not a long period compare to my older job but still to much for this model i think.

That took five hours to render one still frame? wow!

Looks great! The extra cage work and chains are awesome!  Is it remote-controlled/robotic, or piloted?
