Skinning tool request
« on: April 19, 2009, 06:23:29 pm »

For a little over a year, I've used anim8or for a video game project. While skinning my figures, I couldn't use either tool because of the proximity of the points to each other. Please include a tool to bind individual points to a bone like the brush but for more precision. Being able to edit individual points is the best part about anim8or, and being able to do the same to skin a figure would greatly help.

You can simply zoom in closer to the mesh.  This way the vertices will appear further apart on the screen and allow you to paint the points individually.  You can also change the brush size by going, "Build>Weight Brush"

I kinda understand what "Orange" means, because sometimes the points are so close, even if you zoom in, you may still have to rotate the view and do a whole bunch of other stuff to get to the point (no pun intended). Then after that, you'll end up reskinning half of the model again
