undo spline scale, strange behavior
« on: March 18, 2008, 08:54:35 pm »

Using undo after scaling a spline doesn't work as expected.

- Create a spline using either the straight path or curved path tool.
- Move it somewhere
- Scale it to be bigger or smaller
- Undo

In this case, using Anim8or .96 preview (july 31) build, the undo operation moves the spline back, leaving it's modified size the same, instead of undoing the size.

I've also seen it, in other situations, undo the scale operation and a previous operation within one click of undo.

The problem with undoing the creation of a spline segment is that anim8or just moves the newly created spline point onto the previous one making for a strange spline curve.  Since there's a way to delete spline points, anim8or should be able to do this automatically with the undo instead of resorting to a moving of points.  Just my 2 cents.  Though of course, since it's the undo tool, I'm sure that creates a lot of work.
