well i'm new to anim8or about four months of use. i was wondering if anyone could teach me how to create and animate an explosion. sorry about the spelling and any help would be apprieciated.

Take a look at Terranim8or.  It has a plugin for explosions that it will create for a scene.  You can combine elements and of course alter things like the textures it creates for your explosion, etc.

well once i was just testing out my animating, just checking i knew how to do it all right, i made a few random shapes spinning at different speeds and slowly moving in a constant direction, i think something like that would make a good space explosion if you haven't got terranim8or yet

Download terranim8or 6.0 it has things as explosion standard.

floyd: you're right, but the explosions are not as nice as in the newest version.

I agree with hihosilver - version 6 explosion is pathetic compared to version 7 (plugin).
I already said I should have removed v6 form the site (kept it just for the animated material / background feature).
