Also the reason the tree doesn't have shadows was because I was afraid my computer would explode.

Really cool on shadows and all!
What's your computer's speed?Maybe your computer would be able to add shadows to tree.001 if your computer's speed is at least umm..1.4 Ghz?(if under that ......)But the whole scene is awesome!

Actually in all honesty it wasn't I was afraid to add shadows.
It was because of the amount of polys I was running into.
I actually had to cut back on the lights and ornaments
because it wouldn't render, even with no shadows.

Oh.Not your computer's problem.It wouldn't render?For a computer with such speed you probably could do anything!I use blender and the ray-tracer is awesome!anim8or needs Mac and Mac needs anim8or and then!

I have blender on my mac, I just already knew how to use anim8or so this was quicker to make in anim8or than blender.

It's a satin cloth cover.
I put it there because I didn't like the bottom portion of the tree.

The stockings are the only thing that let it down.

They kind of look like they're floating.  :)

At the time I was making those I was getting sick of staring at this.
So I made them very simplistic. But if you see the top view they are touching.
