Newbie question: creating faces/polygons?

How can I create a polygon/face in Anim8or?

Under "Object/Point Edit", I can see there is a button "Add Edge". There is also a button "Cut Faces". But how can I make a new face? For example I have 3 vertices connected with edges and I want to make a it a face???

select the edges..... Edit/fill holes.
