hi, i was gonna post this on the official forum, but it has been ages since i tried to register and i fear that i might forget about it.

I'm sure that afew of you have used Cre8or, a game maker for anim8or, well, i know it would take a load of work, but they could (after the release of the film) make an official game, this might increase interest from the anim8or community, and it would help to get more members, there would have to be a whole load more work, but it could be done, all you'd really need is:

scripters
Figure creators
Sequence creators
Modelers (or use the ones from the film)
Scenery modelers
Graphic designers
Possibly artists for the textures and materials

it sound simple but i'm sure it's actually very complicated.
if anyone here is on the movie forum, it would be helpful if you could raise this idea there.

umm... if it's only a cp game it may not give as much interest but i might help in a month or so,(i dont have cre8or and i dont know how it works really but i might help with textures) if we can get sony or nintendo to help with this after the movie is released it may get more purchases and have more interest.buuuuut,if it would be above our heads or to complicated to get it on some of the latest next-gen consoles,
cp is fine.sorry if i'm talking about things above our capabilities.

yeah...sony...nintendo...mabye not, it's just a suggestion, no official idea has been raised by the moderators or usual users on the official forum.

So don't worry about it, i have also made a thread about this on the forum, it might not be a good idea, i just thought it could be made

A game you say? Well, I have just started a week ago with anim8or, but I want to learn to use it well, and after that, make games with cre8or. If the idea is still on by then, I'm in!

Are there users of Anim8or making a movie. Is there a forum of information about this movie. If there is can you post a link for me so that i can have a look. I have tried searching for it on this forum but can find anything.

you can count me in on it too i guess....

and whats wrong with it being a 'cp' (i think you meant pc, given the weight of your arguements and your ideas are rather undeveloped, meaning you would be more prone to thinking its a ComPuter, not a Personal Computer)

In my opinion PC games are by far superior to their cnosole counterparts, and should nintendo or sony (you neglected to mention microsoft?) would want ot port the game to one of their consoles, i guess they -could-, but its highly unlikely, seeing as an 'amateur' community of 'volunteers' created the game, the quality may not be that high. they could offer to buy the rights to story/gameplay, and rebuild the graphics/etc themselves, but that would take it form us.

i rather like tehidea of making a game. persons involved will have great insight as to waht it would take to make itin the game industry, being one of, if not the greatest user of 3d animation. (sure films take up a lot in terms of animation, but the amount of games, which are -all- based on animation, far outweigh it)
