Challenge #14: Sports equipment

Another round is here after the very successful "Dragon" challenge and the goal is to create a model of any sports equipment.

It can be anything you want: a tennis rocket, a formula 1 car or a bobsleigh track... Just make sure you provide a nice still render before the deadline!

Deadline: March 14th

Remember the challenge rules and post your progress, c&c, and/or final renders in this topic.

Good luck to everybody!

Nice one! I'm sure a lot of people will give this a try, it can be as hard or easy as you want to make it..

I'm not sure what to do yet.. of course it is tempting to do something that featured in the winter olympics. We'll see.. Good luck to everyone!

Theres no cheating in doing more work than necessary! It just won't count towards the voting ;)

Could it be someone riding a skateboard? Just as long as there's sports equipment shown, right?

I'll start asap and see what comes out. :P

Alright I'll kick it off here.. a start on the 'environment' around the sport equipment.. how appropriate.. a locker room!

Nice models Johnar, the meshes look very clean! I'm really curious to see the rocket strings finished, are you going to model them or use a texture?

$imon, I don't know how you do it, but whatever you create looks awesome, even if it is just a simple test render... I hope to see more soon!

Here is the start of my entry, a 2-man bobsleigh. Still have a long way to go...
