Wound Up
« on: April 27, 2010, 11:40:15 pm »

Hello,
I've used anim8or for quite a long time, but I haven't posted many of my works on the forums; however, I've been using anim8or for a piece that is going into my ap art portfolio for school and would like some opinions on it. ^^

Raw Anim8or Render: Post Production:
(The actual render and post-production images are twice the size of the linked images above. It took about 2.5 days to render on my computer ^^')

The character is supposed to be winding himself up... Not the most original concept, but a fair way to portray it in my opinion.
So... What do you think? :)

i think it looks great.

im not sure how ur art class works though. if you need to show a wireframe just make sure everything is as perfect as can be. the face looks a bit generic but it looks really good. if anything u can say its not human. but i think the hands look great and the body as well. and the imagery is top notch.

i really cant say anything about the lighting and textureing sunce i really have no clue when it comes to that stuff but your results worked out really good 2.

good job man.

interesting bit of work. It puts me in mind of the movie "I, Robot"....

Just curious... since I first saw your name the other day... you don't happen to have a bit of "Eternal Champion" in you, do you? (if you know what that's about ;) )

Thanks for the comments ^^

Josmic8or: Yes, everything in the image was modeled, by me, in anim8or. :)

Arik: I have a little in me, but that is not (directly) the reason for my screen name. ;)
