its called Virtual PC, you need to install virtual PC and thru VPC you will intall Windows XP wich is what Animator seems to run best on.

you basiclly installe Virtual PC, you place a windows XP in your CD drive, create a Virtual drive (OMG it sounds Complicated... but its not. you use a wizard (next next) createate new drive) and you click start, and when you do it it looks like there is a second computer booting up i a window, like checkign ram and everithing. and its very Easy.. if you can install windows iny our computer, you can do Virtual PC.I wish I had one of those Screen recorder softwares to show you. but its Eazy and VPC its free ;D.  dunno if I mentiont hat before ???

Try an older Version and see if it lets you.
Virtual PC 2007 Torrent
Download that and install it. I dont think you will have a problem.
You also need a copy of Windows XP

There should be a simpler solution than using a virtual PC. Just follow the steps on the Vista problems page. Vista and Win7 are not much different when it comes to software compatibility.

I'm running Anim8or on Windows 7 (32-bit) without any problems...

I run it thru Virtual PC for modeling only, for some reasin it lags and also the drag select does ghosting.. dunno if is Video drivers or what. but I already Updated Video drivers and it keeps doing it.
but it doesnt do it in XP.. I think its becuase it emulating IDK.
SEE! and I tried all of teh 3 things that says there.

I perfectly understand you. On my laptop I have Vista, and have the same problem, and can not use attributes also. I believe I will instal XP (my main computer). Vista sucks, and they say it was made only for testing. I had a lot of problems with vista, mallfunction for many programs.
XP rulls! :)
