Ofcourse you will have to make a new render for this challenge ;)
but yes...let's go wild...you can use different renderers for this challenge. But the rest should be done in anim8or and ofcourse I can recommend the ART renderer to everyone ;)

Hm, my ideas usually take way too much work to complete them, but I've got time for the next 4 days so...we'll see what I can come up with ;)

A little setting up the scene... borrowed my "main character" from the Antarctic Whaling Base just to use him as a scale figure.

We ARE supposed to try and share a bit of progress, right?

BLOG1

I thought I`d start this image as I have some time, and my next project is still taking shape

This is a simple scene modelled in anim8or and rendered with ART which took 20 minutes to render

However, I exported the scene in anim8or as a 3ds then imported to Carrara

This render incredibly took 9 seconds

Note: if you export as 3ds it will only save the static models, ie: lights, cameras, figures, sequences are NOT exported

So the carrara render is not an exact view as I had to insert a camera and lights to replicate the view Plus I did add some translucency to the umbrella which I will animate

BLOG2
Added some more tables and chairs, and just a quick anim for the brollies, Pity you can`t export the morphs from anim8or into Carrara will have to do those manually in C

Will start on a Marquee soon....
