3Dconnexion Design Challenge

So I've been thinking that there's not enough exposure to opportunities such as this here. Here's a competition hosted by 3Dconnexion where you place one or more of their models in a unique environment and submit the render.

Monthly Prize Package (October, November, December)
  • 1st Prize: 3Dconnexion SpaceExplorer 3D Mouse + PNY NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800

Personally I have a 27" LG monitor and it's spectacular. I wouldn't settle for anything less in size. The Quadro FX graphics card is awesome for 3D design, and the 3D mouse would be a major help to the workflow once you learn how to use it. Unfortunately I don't think the mouse is use-able in Anim8or but there's plenty of programs it's good for.

Sounds like an interesting challenge! Nice prices and a fun challenge. I might enter, but not using anim8or. Probably with maya or 3ds max.
