What photo editing software are you using?

I'm using GIMP, paint and UVMapper Classic.

Why do you want your texture to be smaller? Making it smaller reduces its quality.

In GIMP: Image>scale image

Then scale it down.

If you mean that the texture does not fit your model because of how it has been mapped, then I'm afraid I will not be able to help you. I've never really UV mapped anything.

I mean it's not UV unwrapping, it's mapping but I used 2 of the same pic of much different qualities (one's a lot smaller) and I couldn't make it any smaller. BTW, I mean the graphic being mapped onto the model.

If it is not a very detailed model, why not select half the faces of your model and map them.  You can repeat the process for the other half.

But wat I'm saying is that i'm putting one texture on one face, and I can't shrink or enlarge the texture, if that helps you guys understand more.

In UVmapper, move the points of your mesh around until they fit your texture.

The better way to do it is to fit your mesh in UVmapper so that it is neat, organized, and has the least amount of distortion, then file>export texture map. Then you should have a jpg or something with your object's UV on it. Then take that picture in GIMP and paint in that way. It will fit your texture much better.

Oh, I figured it out: Use the middle button and slide in and out to shrink or grow the texture

You could also select that one face that you want to texture and remap it or scale it larger in uv classic. Yeah you can use the middle button in anim8or ( i use to texture like that all the time) but for more precision on the texture i would just remap only the polys that you want the image to be on.

I've used LithUnwrap http://www.geeks3d.com/20090303/lithunwrap-free-uv-mapper-for-windows/ instead of UVMapper Classic because of its better interface. And lately I started my first project (for Noir comp ;) ) with such a lot of unwrapping in LithUnwrap + Blender 2.5 series. These programs are really helpful for this task - I get lost pretty easily in mess of triangles UVMapper Classic.
