UFO Sighting Reconstruction
« on: September 19, 2011, 07:02:16 pm »

Sorry for posting so many topics  :-\ but this was just awesome.

So I had somewhat of a "UFO" experience yesterday. I was driving down the highway with my mom, and I look out the window to see this crazy-looking thing.  I couldn't get any pictures, so I decided Anim8or was the perfect tool to make an animated reconstruction!  Hope you find it interesting, and if anyone could tell me what this thing could be, that would be great.

Judging by its appearance and movement, I'd say it's a banner trailing behind a plane.

Could be, but where's the plane?

If it was small enough, you might not have noticed it. Because you didn't notice it you didn't add it in Anim8or.

Maybe it had broken loose from the plane?  It certainly appears to be drifting, and maybe the slow vanishing was the result of the banner twisting edge on, or drifting behind low level cloud.

Well, it didn't really vanish, it just floated up so high that I couldn't see it anymore, plus driving further away. And yes, it was a drifting thing, I was just puzzled on what it was

It's certainly cool, and nice thinking to use Anim8or for the reconstruction!
