Thanks Raxx,

yes you're right about the detailing - I'm afraid though that I'll leave it at this for the bull, I'm going to make a scene around it so it won't be big and centered. Plus I'm lazy, and I have to keep that in mind with the deadline, best to keep moving!

Here is an update, posed and textured the bull (screengrab from sculptris)

Maybe there is a reason why you haven't seen a human model by me  :-\

err I mean 'bull' :) I'm sure you could do a good humanoid, don't be bashfull

we have a plant called grevillea of the family Proteaceae, named after the God of many Forms in Greek mythology.
now there's an idea, a flower as a greek God

Haha bulls, sheep, all the same!

I'll see if I can try a human figure ;) For now Im working on the scene, here a rough start

A flower is original for a greek god, but I hope the image would look a bit exciting! :P

OOOPS!!!!! it seems I am a late entrant.   Guys, I am a Hindu and Greek mythology is surprisingly identical to Hindu mythology in many ways.  I hope I can keep up my interest in this challenge as there are a lot of distractions around me at this time.

I am trying to do Charon ferrying the dead across Styx.

Interesting work so far fellows.  Good luck.

What do you guys think about an extension? Say, January 9th, 2012, for the sake of any holidays or school breaks to give time to finish the challenge, eh?

Sounds good to me, Raxx.. It really is a busy time for me, and I can imagine for other people as well (holidays, end of semester for people in school)

That date sounds better, I will try my best to finish something!

Ok, I've been way too busy to even look at this challenge, and it's past the deadline.

So the options are to close it and label Coridavis as the undisputed winner, or extend it to the end of February and hope for a few more entries. Opinions?
