back to topic: ATM Kerkythea is rendering and I'm quite satisfied :D

just a few tips for Kerkythea.
Exporting subdivided models to  .3ds ...
  - Options, Debug ..uncheck " Split Textured 3ds points"
Exporting Unsubdivided models to .3ds
   - Leave  " Split Textured 3ds points"   checked

Scale your model as good as possible in KT. 1 grid square in KT is 1 square meter.
( if you dont do that the render will not be accurate. E.g. a wine glass will be 3 feet thick and KT will render accordingly))
