Anim8or in the Classroom

I have just completed instructing 75 freshmen in a 1 day course entitled Introduction to 3D animation.  The course introduces high school student to the fundamentals of 3D animation.  I chose Anim8or as our software because it's easy to use, free, and has everything needed to make short animated films.  The course was a great success and the student really enjoyed learning Anim8or and making short films.

The course is a web-siminar laid out over several web pages.  I would like to make those pages available to the Anim8or community.  It's a great place to get started if you are new or haven't used the software in a while.  The course covers the creation of character and environment models, scenes, and a short animated film. Topic covered are object modeling, texturing, and animation. Texture Mapping, Set Layout, Scene Lighting, and Camera Movement are also highlights of this course.

I just wanted to share... so here's the link:

Enjoy!

I briefly checked this out.  So far it looks impressive.  I will give it more of my attention when I get home from work :-)
