A quick bone question
« on: March 28, 2008, 08:00:14 pm »

Hi all,

I've done quite a lot modeling now and wanted to get some info in making models "live" :)
Do I have to split the model into parts for each bone?

No you don't if it's organic, if it's going to be mechanical then it's recommended
Go to the tutorials section and check the simple walk tutorial, also check MP3D's tutorial on skinning and rigging http://www.mp3d.info/Anim8ortutorials/page2.html

Well, I got this idea from the simple walk tutorial, but I am already downloading your suggested. I think I will get the point, thanks.
