Ray Tracer--Ambient Occlusion Question
« on: October 31, 2014, 01:45:54 am »

I need to turn off the ambient occlusion effect for a particular object in a scene. "Casts and receives shadows" are both unchecked in the object's properties. This seems to have no effect for ambient occlusion or for raytraced shadows in ART-- everything casts shadows. Am I doing something wrong, or is it only possible to turn shadows off for individual objects in the scanline renderer?

Yeah, for now this is only possible in the scanline renderer.
