Application won't open

I've been trying to fix this but whenever i download anim8tor and open up the folder and try to run the application but it never starts. why is this happening? I've also looked it up on the internet but no-one else is having this problem.

Best bet is to mention your specs... Operating system especially, RAM, etc. would be helpful in identifying the problem or a solution. Welcome!

Compatibility Settings
Right-Click the .exe file and go to Properties. Click the Compatibility tab
Run the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP
Disable Visual Themes
Disable desktop composition

then restart.  ;D

Oh thank you but i was just wondering when i ran it as windows XP does it affect my games?

No it does not affect your games, its only in compatibility mode for anim8or.
